Rachel Moylan

I am a teacher, librarian, and educational researcher with 18 years of experience teaching media studies, English, and social studies in Europe and North America. I have taught students from elementary through secondary school, including AP Human Geography and AP World History, and have served as a department chair, dean, instructional librarian, and teacher educator.

Teaching

My teaching is grounded in inquiry, thinking, and relationships. I create learning environments where students feel valued, learn to engage with multiple perspectives, and develop the confidence and curiosity to make sense of a complex world.

Using creative and collaborative methods, I design and carry out projects focused on AI, digital media, algorithm literacy, historical thinking, and the ethical and social dimensions of technology in education.
